Name of Piece: Elephant Table
circa 1960
I was thrilled to find this four elephant pillar table because it's rare to see one with all the trunks intact. They tend to get broken over the years. My intention for this piece was bold color and patterns, with an eye to defining the hand carved details. This was probably made in Indonesia, probably of suar wood (also known as rain tree).

Name of Piece: 3 drawer oak chest
circa 1910
The straight lines and curves of this beautiful side table were a joy to work with. It was probably a dining room or kitchen side table as evidenced by the coasters. It is walnut with oak veneer. My love of blue and birds is obvious here.

Name of Piece: Red Riding Hood Storage Chest
circa 1940
I believe this piece started life as a record player or radio. It was in bad shape so it was hard to tell. It is solid oak. I had the gorgeous Red Riding Hood decoupage paper to get me started, then added my own painting, ink, and wax.

Name of piece: Frida Kahlo Table
This round table was rescued from a carport. As with all my furniture, the Frida table was created using mixed media of paint, ink, and paper. She is surrounded by flowers and mystical animals, vibrant and happy. This piece can be purchased at Westside Market Toco Hill in Atlanta, GA.
Cormorant Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.
