FIRST LIGHT STUDIO

First Light Studio began as TinsCharming on Etsy, featuring my altered Altoids tins (see Tins in menu). One day as I was driving home I saw an antique dresser and mirror at the curb. Although the surface was somewhat damaged and the mirror was aged, it was a beautiful old piece. Hmm, I thought. Maybe I could use my mixed media techniques on furniture. So I did. Later I spoke with an antiques dealer about the mirror and was told, don't change it! People try to recreate that aged look! This pic uses a cleaned up technique for staging but the old mirror is still there.
